The Urban League of Greater Cleveland’s (ULGC) Financial Opportunity Center® (FOC) is designed to empower low-to moderate-income individuals and families with the knowledge and skills needed for building effective money management strategies and for achieving financial independence, long-term stability and wealth-building.

Financial coaches assist clients in managing their personal finances by guiding them to set and define future goals. These goals may involve creating and sticking to a budget, reducing debt, or saving for specific short-term or long-term objectives (such as purchasing a car or a home). While the coach serves as a supportive partner in the process, the client takes the lead in making decisions.
