The Urban League of Greater Cleveland’s (ULGC) Financial Opportunity Center® (FOC) is designed toempower low-to moderate-income individuals and families with the knowledge and skills needed for building effective money management strategies and achieving financial independence, long-term stability and wealth-building.

Financial coaches help clients focus on financial management by helping to define and set goals for the future – which might include establishing, implementing, and maintaining a budget, paying down debt, saving for a specific long or short-term purpose (such as buying a car, or buying a house, etc.). The coach is the client’s partner in this process, but the client is in the driver’s seat.
